FEEDBACK
I've decided to place the responses I've received from my racism page. Enjoy and please write me!
I must AGREE with you.. I only read the first paragraph of your web page..but that's ALL I needed to read. This whole racism issue has taken its toll on so many people. The hurt is so great.! I wish that White/Back/Jewish/Oriental and everyone else could just bypass what is seen on the outside..and go straight for the heart.! This hate is very scary.. I'm white..and I'm afraid of Black supremacist groups..and ALSO..I'm afraid of the KKK. I'm sure they would persecute me even though I'm white! I think they're all a little touched in the head..and need some psych help. Desperately. Thank you for posting such a nice web site.. That's exactly the kind of things we need to see more of. Take care now.. =)

Hello I have traveled and got to know many races and people and religions, and I have never had a bad experience! I sail a 30' yeah and don't have much money but I love people and I think the only time people have trouble is in the cities. If you put to many rats in one cage they fight. Same with humans!

I think you are right racism is not right. I personally don't think I am racist. I don't like certain people, but it's not because of the color of their skin. If I don't like a black person I am considered a racist. But if I don't like a white person I just don't like them. You have to understand that racism comes from both sides. Black people can make fun of the way whites talk, dress, behave or anything else, and that's no big deal. If a white person makes a black joke he deserves to be shot. I know that other races may have more problems than whites, but it's not as bad as everybody makes it out to be. I'm tired of minorities trying to use racism as a excuse. With Affirmative Action and all of the other things minorities have a better chance of getting into a school than I do just because of their race. I am not trying to offend anybody by this I just want to speak my mind. Please respond and tell me you're thoughts about what I've said.

I totally agree you should not hate people because the color of their skin or because of their culture, I am Polish and i hear these things all of the time(Polish are dumb, Polish are poor and so on.....) but I do not think ethnic jokes are always a bad thing i think i can enjoy some of the jokes even about Polish people sometimes, but the thing that make ethnic jokes funny is that these can be real characteristics of a race or culture. I will admit that a ton of these things are not true for instance Blacks don't always start crime and the blacks weren't spray painted black, these are all fake things, Polish people are not stupid either. But the thing i think is funny is the actual characteristics that these cultures have, some real ones would include: a lot of asians cant drive good, and quite a large percentage of mexicans in the USA are illegal immigrants. Ethnic jokes or what you call racist jokes are not necessarily indications of hate. Racism is wrong though, hate of another culture because you don't know it too well is wrong, but joking is not, and i think that ethnic jokes are light-hearten and not wrong. well goodbye and have a nice day!!!

You have some interesting thoughts about racism. It is an ugly thing. In some ways, it is more dangerous when a person is racist and does not even know it. It comes from thinking that somehow other people ought to be like me, otherwise they are wrong. It is hard for most people to get beyond themselves. I see your challenge as a challenge for others to get beyond themselves, to "walk in their shoes," so to speak. For your information, I saw your site through Banner Swap. Hello, I can not even begin to believe how good you hit this issue on the head. I just got done watching the JERRY SPRINGER SHOW and on this show they had white Klu Klux Klan members. These member were teaching there children what they thought was "correct". When the questioned "Why do you hate blacks", was asked. The only comeback that they would have was that they don't hate blacks, they just feel that they are having everything taken away from them. They also feel that their children aren't being taught the white history in the local schools. When the comment "What about all of the presidents, there white !", was made the kkk members felt that that didn't count. There was a special guest that came onto the show who wanted to confront one of the members. This special guest couldn't even says 2 different sentences without being attacked by one of the members. This I thought made me think what the children are getting at home. Having this web page is a good idea, if you can reach out to people that have an open mind you can make a change. E-mail me back if you have any other good ideas to stop or put a turn for the better. I know I'll do my part. Your awesome!!!!!!! Keep ir up!!!!!!

I only wanted to tell you that I feel very much the same way as you do. Racism is taught. The blind do not go by the color of our skin or how great we look, and I think we could learn a lot from them. I watched the movie Rosewood last night. Have you seen it? Heartbreaking, or at least it broke mine. I cried through most of it, and now I just kind of want to scream to the whole world: What is the matter with you people!!!! One of my family members was a Mason as well as KKK. The ironic story behind this was, he was a full blooded Indian. Just happen to be light, as were his parents, and just as they did, he did (passed himself off as white). But can you imagine an indian as a Klan's man? What a joke. I am so grateful that I didn't have to be raised around him. It was bad enough being raised by people that used the N word pretty freely. And your right we can change things. I have started demanding that people not use insulting words like that around me and I usually try to explain my views. And believe it or not, my conversations have not only been with whites, it has also been with blacks. I hate to hear them call themselves such a word that degrades them as the beautiful people that they are. As I also hate the fact that some blacks will not even be friendly with me (as in returning a passing smile), I feel that I too, am being hated because of the color of my skin. What they don't know is that just because I am fairly light, I am also 1/4 indian, welch, Irish, German, Jewish, and I don't know what else, a little black would be nice in my opinion. This has to stop some where. Education is a fine thing, but in this situation I really feel that if you do not change the adults you will never change the children. And I feel that way about all things pertaining to children. The child does not have a chance as long as the adults never change. Well, I will stop bending your ear, but it would be nice to chat with you if you don't mind. Stay peaceful and caring.
